Trees of Hoover Hall (2015-2017)

A project to find uses for mature trees felled for construction on the site of Hoover Hall, resulting in tree rings cut for biology, usable lumber milled and made available to local artisans in DePauw and Greencastle, various woodworking projects around campus (frames for campus art collection and pedestal for the Lincoln sculpture), and a collaboration with DePauw art students and alum Jacob Stanley and his students from Lindenwood University to create 13 wood benches currently on display at the Nature Park.
